The South Bay Scooter Club meets the first Saturday of every month for a chance to ride around the South Bay on our scooters with fellow scooter enthusiasts. Though vintage Italian scooters are preferred, all types of scooters are always welcome. Meet at Tony Romas restaurant in Torrance at 12:30pm. Ride leaves around 1pm-ish. Different routes and end spots are chosen every month. Come out and ride!!

Once the float steps off on January 1, 2014 Rose Parade .. you can tell your friends "I GLUED THAT FLOWER ON!" So come one, come all to the October 17 DECORATOR ORIENTATION Meeting at 7pm at the Torrance City Hall. You will get information about becoming a member of the Torrance Rose Float Assn and able to CHOOSE YOUR DATE and SHIFT to Decorate! Dry Decorating is Sat Dec 7 and the Float Decorating in Dec 26 through Dec 30. Bring a friend!!

A WILD SCARE FOR CHILD CARE Anza Elementary YMCA will be having a haunted house on Friday, October 25 from 6:00-9:00pm that will feature an indoor and outdoor maze made by the kids, staff and parents of the Anza and Victor child care programs. The haunted house will act as a fundraiser for the Older Youth field trip at the end of the school year. All ages welcome. Entry fee: $2. Over 200 sellers set up in the streets with antiques, collectibles, furniture, vintage clothes, jewelry, toys, tools, pottery, arts & crafts, home decor and more...all on sale at bargain prices! Antique appraisals available. All the downtown restaurants, bars, bakery & market are open as well as antique and specialty shops.
