After School Club Open Walk In Registration

Date: Mon, Oct 1, 2012 Time: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Description: The After School Program is geared towards youth in elementary and middle schools. This recreation program is designed to promote self-esteem through group interaction and self-expression. The program offers games, sports, music, group discussions, guest speakers and a wide variety of activities. Structured time is set aside for homework each day. This is not a tutorial based program.

This program is based on a ratio of one staff member per ten youth at Elementary School and one staff member per thirteen youth at Middle Schools. Enrollment is limited at all schools.

PLEASE NOTE: The After School Club Program is designed for Torrance Residents. Torrance residents will have the first opportunity to register for the program. After the resident registration, Non-Torrance residents will have an opportunity to register for any remaining spaces.

The After School Club Program follows the TUSD calendar and meets on campus Monday-Friday after school until 6:00 p.m. The program is offered at the following schools:

All participants must be a student at the school for which they are registering and also must be picked up by an adult, age 18 or older.
