This class will repeat Wednesday, January 23 from 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon. Emphasis will be placed on caring for the natural world and being good stewards to the planet. This month's topic will be Pill Bugs and Sow Bugs. The first hour will be in the classroom for stories, a craft and science including live animals or plants and microscope use. The second hour will be walking out on the Madrona Marsh Preserve to search for the things that we just studied. You will need to register for each month, starting the first of the month. Only 12 children may attend each class. We will do our best to be fair. A wait list up to 4 children will be added in case of cancellations. The participating children may be signed-in and dropped off for the first hour; parents may watch quietly in the back of the classroom. No younger siblings will be allowed in the classroom, but they are welcome to join us for the marsh walk. Ages 6-8 years. $5 donation requested per student.
