Richard Foss, author, journalist, lecturer, and food historian will tell the tales of how rum and vodka have changed history and will discuss the importance of these beverages.  Richard Foss is a food historian and journalist.  He has written about food and drink for publications including Time Out, Easy Reader Newspaper, and Los Angeles CityBeat.  Most recently he was a contributor to Food Cultures of the World Encyclopedia.  This event is free.  Seating is limited and is first-come, first-seated.
