Barnes and Noble is once again partnering with the Torrance Education Foundation (TEF) to host a fundraiser supporting our schools. On Saturday and Sunday, December 11th and 12th, all customers can purchase books from Barnes and Noble and the bookstore will donate a percentage of the purchases made on those days to TEF.
Any customer can take in the voucher (available at www.tusd.org) or mention the TEF voucher (ID# 10330074) at the time of checkout to make sure a percentage of their purchase is donated to TEF.
For a small donation, get your gifts wrapped and ready for the holidays! TEF Board Members and volunteers will be available outside the store to gift wrap your purchases.
Customers who cannot attend the fundraiser can
support the TEF fundraiser by purchasing books online from 12/12/10 to 12/17/10. Just enter TEF voucher ID# 10330074 at the checkout link to ensure TEF receives a donation from your purchase.

Join Cindy Reid every Friday for this educational, fun program called "Friday Fun." This is a hands-on program for preschoolers ages 2-6 years and their parents or guardians. The program is offered at no charge every Friday from 10 -11:30 a.m. The program incorporates story time, science, art and a tour emphasizing the chosen topic. Some weeks there will also be potting or other activities added. Topics (insects, animals or plants) emphasize respect for all living things and prepare children to be good stewards of the planet. 20 kids maximum.
