Madrona Marsh Nature Center and Preserve, 3201 Plaza Del Amo, Torrance
Join us for our Habitat Restoration Program every Saturday of every month from 8:45 a.m. - 12 noon on the Madrona Marsh Preserve planting natives, weeding, propagating or maybe watering new plants. Wear closed toe shoes, bring gloves and be ready to work. Refreshments are provided. Rain or a holiday that fall on a Saturday cancels this program. Be on time - late comers will not be able to work. For over 43 years, the Torrance Craftsmen’s Guild has helped support local high school students with scholarships. This annual event will offer a fun day that will include handcrafted items, opportunity drawings, food, and ‘make it and take it’ arts and crafts for the kids.
