James Armstrong Theatre [Torrance Cultural Arts Center] 3330 Civic Center Drive
Avi Bernard, DJ radio host of KJLH 102.3 will be hosting this special evening. This side splitting, gospel stage play written by Simone Anika Wilson and produced and directed by Edward Morton focuses on the person you think you know that sits right next to you in church. The As Iz band will have you clapping your hands and singing along with the action. This is the story of a church who wants to send their pastor and his wife on a vacation trip but the money somehow comes up missing.

The program is free and no registration is required, but the room can get crowded so please arrive on time! The program is repeated at 11:00 a.m. Torrance Public Library storytimes are designed for individual families and cannot accommodate organized groups. For information on arranging a group or class visit to the Library, please contact the Youth Services Department.

A pioneer in rock/jazz fusion, Tim Weisberg has sold more than 5 million albums, played some of the largest venues in the world, and collaborated with gifted singer/songwriter Dan Fogelberg. Timís incredible career includes 20 albums with the biggest record labels in the country and his bands have been known as a proving ground for the likes of David Benoit, Art Johnson, and Chuck Alvarez.

This year the Lace Exchange will be replaced by a display of lace butterflies to be donated to the Butterfly Project. In an effort to remember the 1.5 million children who perished in the Holocaust, Holocaust Museum Houston is collecting 1.5 million butterflies for a touring display.
