James Armstrong Theatre [Torrance Cultural Arts Center] 3330 Civic Center Drive
Avi Bernard, DJ radio host of KJLH 102.3 will be hosting this special evening. This side splitting, gospel stage play written by Simone Anika Wilson and produced and directed by Edward Morton focuses on the person you think you know that sits right next to you in church. The As Iz band will have you clapping your hands and singing along with the action. This is the story of a church who wants to send their pastor and his wife on a vacation trip but the money somehow comes up missing.

Registration takes place at City Hall West Annex 3031 Torrance Blvd. Torrance, CA 90503
The After School Program is geared towards youth in elementary and middle schools. This recreation program is designed to promote self-esteem through group interaction and self-expression. The program offers games, sports, music, group discussions, guest speakers and a wide variety of activities. Structured time is set aside for homework each day. This is not a tutorial based program.

This program is based on a ratio of one staff member per ten youth at Elementary School and one staff member per thirteen youth at Middle Schools. Enrollment is limited at all schools.

PLEASE NOTE: The After School Club Program is designed for Torrance Residents. Torrance residents will have the first opportunity to register for the program. After the resident registration, Non-Torrance residents will have an opportunity to register for any remaining spaces.

The After School Club Program follows the TUSD calendar and meets on campus Monday-Friday after school until 6:00 p.m. The program is offered at the following schools:

Greenwood 1520 Greenwood Ave.
Torrance 2125 Lincoln Ave.

A pioneer in rock/jazz fusion, Tim Weisberg has sold more than 5 million albums, played some of the largest venues in the world, and collaborated with gifted singer/songwriter Dan Fogelberg. Timís incredible career includes 20 albums with the biggest record labels in the country and his bands have been known as a proving ground for the likes of David Benoit, Art Johnson, and Chuck Alvarez.

This year the Lace Exchange will be replaced by a display of lace butterflies to be donated to the Butterfly Project. In an effort to remember the 1.5 million children who perished in the Holocaust, Holocaust Museum Houston is collecting 1.5 million butterflies for a touring display.
