The Friends of the Library will host Susan Vreeland, internationally renowned best-selling author, at their annual membership meeting. Ms. Vreeland is best known for her historical fiction on art-related themes, including Firl in Hyacinth Blue, The Passion of Artemisia and Luncheon of the Boating Party. The membership meeting will begin at 1:45 pm; the author presentation will begin at 2:00 pm. Copies of Ms. Vreeland's new novel as well as others will be for sale and signing at the event.
