Learn how to: prepare soil for planting on the Marsh, grow native plants for restoration and fund raising events at the Madrona Marsh, 'pot up' plants to larger containers, collect and 'clean' seeds and prune native plants in the nursery. This year the Lace Exchange will be replaced by a display of lace butterflies to be donated to the Butterfly Project. In an effort to remember the 1.5 million children who perished in the Holocaust, Holocaust Museum Houston is collecting 1.5 million butterflies for a touring display.

One of Europe's most distinguished string quartets, Cuarteto Casals has earned extensive critical acclaim and won top prizes at many international competitions, including first place at the 2000 London and 2002 Johannes Brahms International string quartet competitions. In 2006, the Spanish ensemble received the National Music Award - the highest distinction for musicians in Spain - and in 2008 was awarded the Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award in England. In addition, the quartet has accompanied the King and Queen of Spain on official state visits as well as performed at the Palacio Real in Madrid using the royal family's collection of Stradivarius instruments.
