This workshop is designed for those fourteen and older who have never knit before and want to learn the basics: cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. This two-part session includes "homework" to guarantee the completion of a beautiful scarf. Part 2 is Saturday, January 19, and includes bind off and tassels. All supplies are provided. This immersive, globally themed program features performances of internationally recognized jazz composers from places as diverse as West Africa, Israel, Cuba, Puerto Rico, India, and the Untied States.
