Youth Volleyball Leagues are for youth grades 4th - 8th and Clinic is for youth grades 2nd - 4th. Registration is going on right now for Torrance residents and will begin March 7, 2017 for non- residents. All games and the Clinic will be played at the Dee Hardison Sports Center at Wilson Park. The cost is $69 for the eight-week program and includes a T-shirt and a medal. If you have any questions call the Youth Sports office at (310) 781-7515.

There will be an exhibit of rocks from all over the world that display beautiful colors under ultraviolet lights presented by the Fluorescent Mineral Society. This exhibit is one of the most comprehensive and varied collections of fluorescent minerals you will ever see in one place. There will also be ‘how to’ demonstrations such as bead working, sphere making, gem carving, glass bead making, workshops for kids, and more.

After being swept up in a cyclone, young Dorothy enters the merry ol’ Land of Oz befriending a scarecrow, a tin man, and a cowardly lion. After escaping the antics of the Wicked Witch of the West she finally realizes there’s no place like home.
