Madrona Marsh Nature Center and Preserve, 3201 Plaza Del Amo, Torrance
Join us for our Habitat Restoration Program every Saturday from 8:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on the Madrona Marsh Preserve planting natives, weeding, propagating or maybe watering new plants. Wear closed toe shoes, bring gloves and be ready to work. Refreshments are provided. Rain or holidays cancel this program. Be on time - late comers will not be able to work. If you are 15 years or younger you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For more information please contact the Madrona Marsh Nature Center at 310-782-3989.

The Friends of the Torrance Library will offer a great selection of encyclopedias, reference material, children's books and thousands of books on a vast array of topics - all at bargain prices. A variety of records, CDs, cassette tapes, VHS tapes and DVDs will be offered.

All of the beloved Peanuts characters are there: Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, Schroeder, Pig Pen and Sally Brown. This show features the highlights from the Broadway musical with such songs as My Blanket and Me, Beethoven Day, Happiness, and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. Suitable for the entire family.

This exciting event combines the three winners of the 2012 Young Artists Concerto Competition with the symphony orchestra performing works from Wieniawski, Carl Maria von Weber, and Rachmaninoff, followed by a selection of Broadway favorites featuring the dynamic voice of baritone Ralph Cato.
