Join us for our Habitat Restoration Program every Saturday from 8:45 a.m. - 12 noon on the Madrona Marsh Preserve planting natives, weeding, propagating or maybe watering new plants. Wear closed toe shoes, bring gloves and be ready to work. Refreshments are provided. Rain or holiday cancels this program. Be on time - late comers will not be able to work. If you are 15 years or younger you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For more information please contact the Madrona Marsh Nature Center at 310-782-3989.

The City of Torrance Community Services invites you to a pancake breakfast and a visit with Santa at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center, with entertainment featuring a puppet show by Jim Gamble Puppet Productions and music by DJ Ozzie.
Tickets are $20.00 a person and reservations can be made by phone
(310) 618-2720 or in person at the Registration Office in the West Annex of City Hall 3031 Torrance Blvd, (two buildings east of the Library) on the following dates:
Torrance Residents: November 27-December 7, 2012
Non-Torrance Residents: December 4-7, 2012
The registration office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will be closed on Friday, November 30 and Friday, December 14.
