The Torrance Youth Council will be hosting their Annual Youth Forum on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. If you are a high school student interested in discussing and debating various topics relevant to you and you attend a Torrance high school, check in your Activities Office to sign up.

Join us for our Habitat Restoration Program every Saturday from 8:45 a.m. - 12 noon on the Madrona Marsh Preserve planting natives, weeding, propagating or maybe watering new plants. Wear closed toe shoes, bring gloves and be ready to work. Refreshments are provided. Rain or a holiday that fall on a Saturday cancels this program. Be on time - late comers will not be able to work. January is Science Month, with a program at every library location all about science! Is it Magic, or Is it Science? Let's create our own magic with these simple science experiments. Science Month is sponsored by the ExxonMobil Foundation. These programs are free with no registration, and are suitable for ages five and up.
