Join this fun Romance Book club to talk about your favorite romance authors or find someone new and exciting to read. Lead by Kelly Wong, creator of FictionDB.com and Friend of the Library volunteer, the Romance in the Stacks Book Group meets the first Wednesday of each month at 11:00 a.m. in the Lower Level Study Rooms. No specific titles are selected; just bring your passion for romantic fiction and a desire to explore new authors.

The City of Torrance and the Water Replenishment District are providing a series of innovative Eco Gardener Water Efficient Gardening Workshops on Wednesdays from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Madrona Marsh Nature Center.
Participants can register for all workshops or individual sessions.
Other workshops in this series for 2013: December 11-Vegetable & Gruit Gardening, and December 18-Sustainable Landescape Care.
