Dr. John Thomlinson received a sabbatical for Spring 2016 to write a textbook on Landscape Ecology (science of studying and improving relationships between ecological processes in the environment and particular ecosystems). John decided to write it on the road, traveling through four states and immersing himself in various types of landscapes to gain different viewpoints. Along the way, he took a little time to observe nature as well. He will provide a sampler of the results through photographs. Open to the public. Light refreshments are provided. Free! Donations are greatly appreciated. For more information please contact the Madrona Marsh Nature Center at 310-782-3989.
