Join the Propagation Society and Linda Gonzales as we plant seeds for the future of the Madrona Marsh Preserve. Learn how to: prepare soil for planting on the Marsh, growing native plants for restoration and fund raising, 'pot up' plants to larger containers, collect and 'clean' seeds and prune native plants in the nursery. The El Retiro Library will close one hour early, at 7 p.m. to conduct a drill of Area Disaster Center responsibilities. In a disaster, branch libraries serve as ADCs for the City. The outside materials returns will be open, North Torrance, Southeast, and Walteria branches open until 8 p.m. and Katy Geissert Civic Center LIbrary open until 9 p.m. Please contact Library Administration at 310-618-5950 with any questions.
