Join us for our restoration program every Saturday of every month from 8:45 a.m. - 12 noon on the Madrona Marsh Preserve planting natives, weeding, propagating or maybe watering new plants. Wear closed toe shoes, bring gloves and be ready to work. Refreshments are provided. Rain or a holiday that fall on a Saturday cancels this program. Be on time - late comers will not be able to work. Take a guided walk on the Madrona Marsh Preserve and learn about the flora and fauna that live in our captivating vernal marsh. You'll see how living things interact in their habitat and learn the value of wetlands in our urban environment. This walk occurs on the 4th Saturday and 4th Sunday every month from 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon. All are welcome! Great for seniors! Free! Donations accepted. This popular musical which originally opened on Broadway in 1956 starring Deborah Kerr and Yul Brynner is the story Anna Leonowens, a widow who leaves London along with her son, Louis. They head to Siam where Anna teaches English to the king’s court in a country determined to modernize. But conflicts with the King ensue and neither the King nor Anna can admit their friendship is growing.
