Don’t spend Summer at home! Come to summer camp and enjoy fun filled days participating in indoor crafts, outdoor games, walking field trips and an excursion every week! Torrance Summer Camps will hold 10 weekly sessions from Monday, June 18, 2012 to Friday, August 24, 2012, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Fees range from $125 to $155 per week. Fun Camp, for ages 6-11, is held at Greenwood Park and La Romeria Park. Teen Camp, for ages 12-14, is held at Greenwood Park. Sports Camp, for ages 7-13, is held at Wilson Park. Extended Care is also available for Camps. Morning Care is 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Fees are $20 for residents and $25 for non-residents. Similar to a walk-a-thon, participants raise money in pledges, then sleep overnight in a carboard box to raise awareness for homeless families in the South Bay.
