Madrona Marsh Preserve and Nature Center
Visit Madrona Marsh Nature Center to purchase your tickets for this years Moonlight Magic Fundraising Event. A Fundraising Celebration on the Preserve in the Moonlight. Dinner, music, auctions, dancing, and laughter.

Registration takes place at City Hall West Annex 3031 Torrance Blvd. Torrance, CA 90503
The After School Program is geared towards youth in elementary and middle schools. This recreation program is designed to promote self-esteem through group interaction and self-expression. The program offers games, sports, music, group discussions, guest speakers and a wide variety of activities. Structured time is set aside for homework each day. This is not a tutorial based program.

This program is based on a ratio of one staff member per ten youth at Elementary School and one staff member per thirteen youth at Middle Schools. Enrollment is limited at all schools.

PLEASE NOTE: The After School Club Program is designed for Torrance Residents. Torrance residents will have the first opportunity to register for the program. After the resident registration, Non-Torrance residents will have an opportunity to register for any remaining spaces.

The After School Club Program follows the TUSD calendar and meets on campus Monday-Friday after school until 6:00 p.m. The program is offered at the following schools:

All participants must be a student at the school for which they are registering and also must be picked up by an adult, age 18 or older.

Whether your an avid birder or just a beginner, you'll have fun on this walk. Search the Preserve for our local residents and seasonal visitors of the Madrona Marsh Preserve. Volunteers are needed for habitat restoration every Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Join the group and gain expertise about weeds of the South Bay.
