Once again the Friends of the Torrance Library will offer a great selection of encyclopedias, reference materials, children's books, and thousands of titles on a vast array of topics. All at bargain prices! Records, CDs, cassette tapes, VHS tapes, and DVDs too! All items sold are donations, and all money raised goes to benefit the programs and services at the Torrance Public Library.

If you like your jazz and blues with a taste of Billie Holiday, Ernestine Anderson, and Shirley Horn, then you won’t want to miss this performance. Referred to by Downbeat Magazine as “a young Billie Holiday, Frances has emerged as a performer with her own unique singing style.” With her voice and an ability to please audiences and make a lasting impression, Frances has toured internationally and has worked with some of the jazz greats. Dinner will be available from Red Car Brewery.
