Madrona Marsh Nature Center and Preserve, 3201 Plaza Del Amo, Torrance
Join us for our habitat restoration program every Saturday from 8:45 a.m. - 12 noon on the Madrona Marsh Preserve planting natives, weeding, propagating or maybe watering new plants. Wear closed toe shoes, bring gloves and be ready to work. Refreshments are provided. Rain or a holiday that fall on a Saturday cancels this program. Be on time - late comers will not be able to work. Take a guided walk on the Madrona Marsh Preserve and learn about the flora and fauna that live in our captivating vernal marsh. You'll see how living things interact in their habitat and learn the value of wetlands in our urban environment. This walk occurs the 4th Saturday and 4th Sunday of every month from 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon. All are welcome! Free! Donations accepted.
