South Bay Ballet continues to enhance the local performing arts scene with its 2012 BRAVO! dance concert bringing world-class classical and contemporary ballet to the Southland while cultivating the work of the region’s top choreographers fused with emerging talent. Visiting artists include Utah Regional Ballet’s celebrated director and choreographer, Jacqueline P. Colledge; as well as founder and director of Stone Dance Collective and producer of Chop Shop Dance Festival, artistic director Eva Stone. This season’s BRAVO! will also feature two guest companies: Dance Peninsula Ballet and Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre, along with a showcase of two emerging choreographers, Skylar Kolby Burson and Richard Link.
