February 19, 2003 - Annual ASB Joint and TYC Meeting
At this meeting Youth Council will be discussing upcoming Youth events, any problems that effect Youth as a whole in the City, which we think you, as student leaders, should know about. We hope that you will be able to attend the Youth Council meeting on February 20, 2002 at 
7 p.m. at The ATTIC

March 22, 2003 - THE ATTIC's Annual Spring Fasion Show
Attention all High School Students: The City of Torrance Parks and Recreation Department will b ehosting a SPRING FASHION SHOW on Saturday March 22, 2003 from 11:00 am to 1 pm. The Spring Fashion Show will give High School students the opportunity to view some of the latest fashions in formal wear for upcoming proms and special events. Several local business will be offering high school students discount coupons and prizes that will help make shopping for their high school prom the best that it can be.
THE FASION SHOW will be held at THE ATTIC, which is located at 2320 W. Carson St. For more information about this event you can call (310)782-8828

APRIL 29, 2003 - TYC'S Annual Youth Forum
On Tuesday April 29, 2003 Representatives from each of the Torrance High Schools, Bishop and CAMS will conviene at THE ATTIC, for a day of debate and thought provoking interactions. Check it out!! Sign up at your school in early to mid April. Don't miss an opportunity to have your voice heard. 

April 5, 2003 -The ATTIC's Annual Pancake Breakfast
On Saturday April 5, 2003, The ATTIC, A Torrance Teen Center is celebrating its' Fourth Year Anniversary. The Parks and Recreation Department is planning a very special day of entertainment, good food and activities to recognize this special occasion. A very exciting part of this celebration is the pancake breakfast will be prepared by the Lion's clubs of Torrance from 7:00-11:00 AM at the teen center. Come by and support the Teens of Torrance. Ticket donations are $4.00 per person and 7 and under $2.00 per child.

May 15, 2003 - 8th Annual "Beat The Odds" Scholarship Program
To be held at The ATTIC, a Torrance, Teen Center on Thursday, May 15, 2003. Applications will go out to the four Torrance high schools, Bishop and CAMS during the week of March 10th. They are due into the Parks and Recreation offices by Friday April 11, 2003. The scholarship is open to Torrance residents, graduating high school seniors. Check with your school for details and an application.
