Thanks to those attending the Communications/Message Handling class on Saturday. Twenty-four TARA, CERT/TARA and eleven CERT only members attended Chris Storey's comprehensive presentation. I thank Chris, WA6WNK for this most informative and complete class on all aspects of Message handling including copying and composing effective radio messages. It was time well spent.

Our Thursday, July 11th Continuing Ed will be a Traffic Control Class, taught at TPD. 1900 hours, come early! Last year we had more than 80 of our CERT and TARA members taking the class. Parking can be a challenge! Long pants and shoes covering your entire foot are a MUST for this class, no exceptions. No access to TPD without your DSV ID badge!

Lunch served afterward at the church. Note: The Hope Chapel sanctuary is on the second floor. Elevator available for those who cannot climb the stairs. (His burial was completed last Saturday in a small, private service.)
