Did You Know? - Torrance PD sends out free e-mail alerts regarding crime trends, crime prevention information and other Department information. This program was begun in response to the need to provide timely information to our community about issues concerning them. All information you provide when you sign up for this program is kept confidential and is not released to any other departments or entities. To date, this program has proven very successful in our joint efforts with the community to make Torrance an even safer city. All alerts sent out to the community are also posted on the main Torrance PD web page under the "Spotlight" section in the right column.
