"Seniors, Don't Be Scammed" (March 25, 2015 10AM-12PM Noon)
The Torrance Police Department Community Affairs Division and the Torrance Community Services Department are presenting a free, "Seniors, Don't Be Scammed!" class featuring information on the latest trends on scamming seniors, (Wednesday, March 25, 2015, 10 AM - 12 PM). In addition, the Torrance Fire Department will be speaking on the Vial of Life Program.  Seniors, caregivers, family, and friends are invited to learn about the latest scams.  The class will be held at the Katy Geissert Civic Center Library community meeting room, (3301 Torrance Blvd.).  For more information click here.  

Tip-a-Cop (Wednesday, April 15, 2015 5-9 PM )

The Torrance Police Department along with the Special Olympics of Southern California will be hosting a Tip-A-Cop at Lazy Dog Restaurant, located at the Del Amo Fashion Center (3525 Carson St).  The Torrance Police Department will be working with the staff at Lazy Dog as hosts and servers.  Officers will be accepting tips from dinner patrons to benefit local Special Olympics Southern California South Bay athletes.  Come support your local Law Enforcement Officers and enjoy fine food and fun!  Click here for flyer.
