PARTNERS IN POLICING CLASS #36 (6:00-8:30PM, October 1, 2015)
"Partners In Policing" is a Community Awareness Program that educates the community by allowing them to "walk in the shoes of an officer," and experience hands-on exercises relating to the duties, services and responsibilities of policing.  Participants will meet officers from the Gang Detail, SWAT, K-9 Detail, Crime Scene Investigation and interact with a variety of officers from the details within the department.  Must be 18 or older to attend.  Click here for more information and to register for the class. Class begins Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 6-8:30 PM. Participants will meet at the Torrance Police Station on Thursday nights 6-8:30PM for 12 weeks.

"Seniors Don't Be Scammed!" (Tuesday, October 6, 2015 10 AM to 12 PM)
The Torrance Police Department Community Affairs Division and the Torrance Community Services Department are presenting a free, "Seniors Don't be Scammed!" class featuring information on internet and telephone safety (Tuesday, October 6, 2015 10AM-12Noon). Seniors, caregivers, family and friends are invited to learn about the latest scams.
