Free CPR Training (October 9, 2010)
This free three -hour workshop, which follows the American Heart Association guidelines, teaches lifesaving skills for infants and children in the community. It is recommended for all parents and grandparents. A Certificate of Completion will be given to class paricipants. Click Here for the informaional flyer.
RAD Self Defense Class
Rape Aggression Defense - Our Instructional Objective is to develop and enhance the options of self defense so they may become viable considerations to a woman who is attacked. The next RAD seminar will be taught over a two day period at the Torrance Police Department in September (Date will be determined shortly).

Seniors - Don't Be Scammed!
Seniors, caregivers, family and friends are invited to come learn ways to keep from being victimized by Street Scams and Pigeon Drops. This training will be held at the Katy Geissert Library on November16, 2010. Click Here for the Informational flyer

Tip A Cop Benefiting South Bay Special Olympics
The Torrance Police Department has hosted two Tip A Cop events this year bringing our total raised for the South Bay Special Olympics to just under $10,000. A huge thank you goes out to all of the Department Personnel and citizens that helped make this event such a success. Keep checking back for information on our next Tip A Cop event. Partners in Policing
The next Partners in Policing (PIP) class will begin in the Fall at the Torrance Police Department. This class is open to all Torrance residents, people who work in Torrance or people that have some other affiliation to to the City (i.e. attend school in Torrance, are members of a church in Torrance, are members of a Torrance based civic groups such as Kiwanis, Rotary, etc or have some other City ties).
