"Seniors Don't Be Scammed!" (Tuesday, November 18, 2014 10AM-12 Noon )
The Torrance Police Department Community Affairs Division and the Torrance Community Services Department are presenting a free, "Seniors Don't be Scammed!" class featuring information on Internet Safety for the Holidays, (Tuesday, November, 18, 2014, 10AM-12Noon). In addition, Animal Control Officer, David LaPlante, will be speaking about the Animal Control Division. Seniors, caregivers, family and friends are invited to learn about the latest scams. Tip-a-Cop (Thursday, October 16th 4-9pm)
The Torrance Police Department along with the Special Olympics of Southern California will be hosting a Tip-A-Cop at Red Robin, located at the South Bay Galleria (1815 Hawthorne Blvd Redondo Beach). The Torrance Police Department will be working with the staff at Red Robin as hosts and servers. This is a regional event and we will be working with Officers from other agencies as well. Officers will be accepting tips from dinner patrons to benefit local Special Olympics Southern California South Bay athletes.
