Fire Station 1 (Headquarters)
1701 Crenshaw Blvd. |
Located at the corner of Crenshaw Blvd. and Carson Street, Station 1 is the oldest of all the Torrance fire stations. Built in 1955, Station #1 houses two engine companies, one ladder truck company, one paramedic squad, a Hazardous Materials trailer and the shift commander (Battalion Chief). Engine company personnel from station 1 are also cross trained to respond as part of the TFD's Hazardous Materials Response Team. A total of 17 response personnel are housed in station #1. The TFD's administrative offices are also located here.

Fire Station 2
25135 Robinson Way |
Located at Robinson Way and Pacific Coast Highway, Station 2 houses the smallest contingent of TFD personnel. The four person crew of the single engine company housed in Station 2 are the first responders to any Torrance Airport incident.

Fire Station 3
3535 W. 182nd Street |
Located on 182nd Street east of Yukon Avenue in North Torrance, Station 3 houses one engine company and one paramedic squad. Station 3 personnel are the first responders on any freeway incident.

Fire Station 4
5205 Calle Mayor |
Located at Calle Mayor and Pacific Coast Highway, Station 4 houses one engine company and one paramedic squad. Station 4 personnel are the first responder to any incident on Torrance Beach.

Fire Station 5
3940 Del Amo Blvd. |
Located on Del Amo Blvd, one block west of Hawthorne Blvd., Station 5 houses one Engine Company and one ALS Rescue Unit. Six response personnel are housed at Station 5.

Fire Station 6
21401 Del Amo Circle |
Located on Del Amo Circle west of Hawthorne Blvd. (behind the Union Bank), Station 6 is the newest of the TFD's fire stations. Commissioned in 1986, Station 6 houses one engine company, one ladder truck company, and one paramedic squad and one air and lighting unit. Engine company personnel from station 6 are also cross trained to respond as part of the TFD's Hazardous Materials Response Team. Station 6 houses 11 emergency response personnel.

City Hall

In addition to our six fire stations, the Fire Department's Fire Prevention and Hazardous Materials Administration offices are located within the City Hall complex adjacent to the Building and Safety Department.
