TORRANCE YOUTH COUNCIL

Meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the West Annex Commission Meeting Room, located at 3031 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA 90503; two buildings east of the Library.

The Torrance Youth Council is an advisory body to City Council on matters pertaining to youth in Torrance. Youth Council is comprised of two members representing each of the Torrance high schools, El Camino College, Shery, California Academy of Math & Science and two members- at-large. All meetings are open to the public, and young people are encouraged to address the Council on any items related to youth. Applications for Torrance Youth Council membership are accepted each April. Following the selection process, new members are installed in July or August.
