The Co-Rec Club is a Co-Ed Recreation Program for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Torrance Middle School students/residents.  This program has been around for over 50 years.  It is the hottest youth club in the South Bay Area with the best D.J.'s around, who play all the latest hits!!   You must become a member to attend these dances. Membership into this exclusive club is $15 a year (September 2012-August 2013), which includes a monthly newsletter and a Co-Rec I.D. card. Memberships are available prior to each dance. Fill out a mail-in membership application form today to avoid long lines at the dances.  A current school I.D., current class schedule or current report card is mandatory for membership (NOTE: Zangle, Parent Connect, eTUSD or notes will not be accepted as proof of grade or residency).  New sixth graders may bring a  fifth-grade Torrance Elementary report card (through September 2012) or a print out of your current school schedule.

Dances are usually held twice monthly at the Ken Miller Recreation Center, 3341 Torrance Boulevard. Each month a birthday dance and a theme dance are offered to members. All dances begin at 7:30 p.m. Staff will not be on duty until 7:00 p.m. Therefore, any participant that arrives before this time will be unsupervised. All dances end at 9:30 p.m. Please be prompt in picking up your child(ren).   You Must Be a Member to attend these dances, but you may attend one dance as a guest prior to becoming a member through October 20112. Don't wait, become a member today! To avoid long lines at the dances, take advantage of the mail-in option or the walk-in membership registration dates listed.
