Programs and Services for Seniors
Anyone aged 50 years and older is invited to join the 5-0 and on the go! Association. For an annual fee of $5.00 (renewable each January), members receive a monthly newsletter of activities and are eligible to go on planned excursions.
Register at any center listed or make a check, payable to the City of Torrance, and mail to:

Community Services
Focal Point Resource Services 310.320.1300 The Torrance Focal Point is a highly visible program where anyone in the community can obtain information and access to aging services. It is an accessible place to turn to for referral to vital information and services.

Torrance Community Transit The Senior Ride Program has been merged with the Dial-A-Lift Program and is now called Torrance Community Transit.

Senior Citizens Centers
Bartlett Senior Citizens Center 1318 Cravens Avenue, 310.320.5918 Bartlett Center is open daily and provides a full range of programs and services. Activities include special interest classes, weekday hot lunches for a nominal fee, exercise and dance classes, card playing, shuffleboard, pool shooting, lapidary shop, singing groups, and more! Call for appointments for free legal advice. Information on social services including Medicare, Medi-Cal, SSI, transportation, and other needs is also available.
