Park Program Description

Pueblo Park open this spring!

Pueblo Park is open Monday-Friday from 3-5 p.m. The Park Program is FREE and is a non-custodial drop-in program where children can come and go as they please. Pueblo Park will be closed February 13 and 20, 2012. 
  
The Park Program is offered at 13 park facilities during winter, spring and summer breaks from 12 to 4 p.m.  The Spring 2012 progam will be held April 9-12, 2012. The Summer 2012 program is scheduled to begin June 18, 2012. Staff will lead participants in a variety of crafts and recreational games.  The program is free and is offered at the parks listed below.

About the Carpenter Wagon: Children ages 6-14 can make mailboxes, toolboxes, birdhouses and more!  The City of Torrance Community Services Department, in partnership with The Home Depot, provided wood crafts and assistance in creating them.  Parents/Guardians must be present must be present in order for children to participate. Sessions are limited to 20 children.  Registration will be taken 10 minutes prior to the start of each session.  There is a limit of one session per child per day, and projects will vary based on availability.  Sessions are offered from 12 - 12:50 p.m., 1 - 1:50 p.m. and 2 - 2:50 p.m.
