Training is provided, as needed. If you might be one of these wonderful people, would you please return the enclosed card

Docent for school tours: Enjoy a two hour adventure by leading enthusiastic students on a tour of the Nature Center and Marsh from 10-12, Tues. through Thurs.
Training for this includes 5-8 sessions in the fall on the Marsh history, plants, animals and how to be a docent.
Also helpful is tagging along on a couple of tours led by other docents. You will start with a grade level for which you feel most comfortable from pre-school on up.
Very rewarding and a lot of fun!!!!
Volunteer Coordinator: This position is for a person who would like to talk with potential volunteers and assist them in finding what works best for them.
It may also include selecting outreach docents for various events (5-10) that come up throughout the year. Other tasks may be designated as desired and as time permits.
