LIBRARY NOTICES

  • The Henderson Library at 4805 Emerald St. will close one hour early at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 to conduct a disaster drill.

  • Effective July 1, 2010, the following overdue materials fine increases took effect:
    - Books (adult and children) - Fine is increased to $.30 (30 cents) per item per day;
    - DVDs and videos (adult and children) - Fine is increased to $2.00 (two dollars) per item per day.

  • The 2010 Youth Services Summer Reading Program begins June 28 and runs through August 7.

  • The Katy Geissert Civic Center Library is now closed on Sundays until September 2010
