You've got homework. We've got help! The Torrance Public Library will soon offer help from real, live tutors right at the library or in your home via the Internet!
Live Homework Help is available for 4th - 12th grade and college introduction level students from 1 pm to 10 pm every day. This program connects students to a real live tutor. Children and young adults visiting the library simply log on to Live Homework Help via the Torrance Public Library website with their Library Card number, enter their grade level and the subject they need help in and within a few minutes or less are connected to an expert tutor. Students can receive help in math, science, social studies or English. If you'd like to learn more about the program, please call the Youth Services Department at (310) 618-5964 or visit us on the Internet at http://www.library.torrnet.com/.
Are you not sure you have a Torrance library card, or need to get one? Come to any of our six libraries with a photo ID and proof of address (parent's photo ID is fine) and we will give you a library card.
