LIBRARY NOTICES
The Torrance Public is presenting a program entitled "Fifty Wonders of Korea and Korea Today" on Saturday, July  26, at 2:00 p.m. at the Katy Geissert Civic Center Library in the Community Meeting Room. Guests will view a documentary on Korean art and industrial achievements. There will also be a reenactment of a traditional Korean wedding with costumes. A traditional Korean meal will also be served. The program and meal are free, but space is limited. Registration is required.

E-books are now available to Torrance Public Library cardholders, through the Library's new ebook portal!  This new service is made possible through the generous support of the Friends of the Torrance Library.

Established in 1937 and now located at 3815 W. 242nd Street, Walteria Library is the first branch of the Torrance Public Library System.  The library has kept up with modern technology by offering free computer access, Wi-Fi services, DVDs, eBooks, in addition to traditional books and magazines.
