Savory Apricot Sauce

Ingredients:
1 17oz Can Apricot Halves In Syrup
¼ Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Cornstarch
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1 Clove Garlic
1½ Tsp Dijon Mustard
½ Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tbsp Dry Sherry Or Dry White Wine
¼ Cup Dried Apricots, Sliced
2 Tbsp Butter
In a blender or food processor, pour in the can of apricots, brown sugar, cornstarch, garlic, lemon juice, mustard, and worcestershire sauce. Blend well.

Pour the mixture in a saucepan. Stir in the wine and sliced apricots and bring the mixture to a boil. Cook until thickened. Quickly stir in the butter. Serve the sauce hot. Yields about two cups.
