APPLE-WALNUT SALAD

This recipe makes a healthy and delicious dessert.  It's quick and easy.  
It's also GREAT as a healthy breakfast alone, or on top of pancakes or waffles!
If you are making this one for little ones who do not yet eat chunks of apple, peel and shred the apple first and pulse the walnuts in a food processor or omit them.

4 of your favorite apples (medium sized), washed and diced
1/3 cup dried fruit (cranberries, raisins, blueberries, and currants work well)
1/3 cup toasted walnut pieces
Dressing:
½ cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons agave nectar or maple syrup
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Toss the diced apples together with the dried fruit and toasted walnuts in a medium bowl.

Whisk the dressing ingredients together in a small bowl and pour dressing over fruit mixture.  Mix well, and serve!
