          Torrance resident early day camp registration begins Tuesday, May 14, 2013
     Non-resident registration for all classes and programs begins Wednesday, May 29, 2013

Torrance residents must provide current proof of residency prior to registering for the first time, if you move to a new Torrance address, or if mail is returned.   A Torrance resident is defined as anyone LIVING within the Torrance City Limits.

CONVENIENCE FEE
The City of Torrance will be charging a non-refundable convenience fee for all online class registrations.  This fee will help recover some of the costs associated with credit card fees.  The fees will be charged per class, per person when registering ONLINE ONLY.  If you have any questions regarding these fees, call the Registration Office.  The charge has been added to the class fee and will be assessed as follows:

2013 Fall Registration Information

     Torrance resident registration begins Tuesday, August 20, 2013
     Non-resident registration begins Tuesday, August 27, 2013

2013 Fall Afterschool Registration
     Torrance resident mail & fax begins Tuesday, July 9, 2013
     Torrance resident walk-in begins Monday, August 19, 2013
     Non-resident registration begins Monday, August 26, 2013 - all non-residents must provide a copy of their 2013/2014 TUSD permit.

     AFTERSCHOOL - Mail-in and Fax-in Registration for Torrance residents begins July 17, 2012.  Walk-in Registration will be the same as above.

West Annex Registration Office Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Cultural Arts Center Registration Office Hours: 9:00am-4:00pm (limited dates)
Both offices are closed every other Friday and on all City observed holidays.

MILITARY DISCOUNTS
Active Military personnel and their immediate dependents are eligible to receive a 10% discount on Community Services Department programs and classes, up to a maximum of $10 per program or class. To receive this special discount, applicants must complete a Military Discount Application Form and present a copy of your Active Duty Service Identification Card.

P.A.C.E. SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM - 2013/2014 Application and Guidelines - Funds may be used July 1, 2013 - June 30, 2014.  (Applications will be available in June)
Scholarships are available to families that are Torrance Residents and that meet the Financial Criteria.  Scholarships are awarded for youth under 18 years of age and seniors 60 and over (proof of age is required).  A Torrance Resident is defined as anyone LIVING within the Torrance City limits.  Families residing in the zip code 90501 East of Western Avenue and the 90502 zip codes are considered non-residents and are not eligible for scholarships.

Applications must be submitted at least one week prior to registering.  A letter will be mailed to you explaining your award or denial.  For more information call the Registration Office (310) 618-2720.
