NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD BEFORE THE CITY OF TORRANCE PLANNING COMMISSION AT 7:00 P.M., AUGUST 4, 2010, IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL, 3031 TORRANCE BOULEVARD, TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA, ON THE FOLLOWING MATTERS:
CUP10-00010, DIV10-00003, DVP10-00001, & WAV10-00005: Petition of OBELISK ARCHITECTS (ST MERCURIUS/ST ABRAAM CHURCH) for approval of a Conditional Use Permit and Development Permit for the development of a Church Master Plan, a Division of Lot to allow for the consolidation of two existing parcels into one parcel, and a Waiver of the street and landscaped setback requirements to allow the rehabilitation of an existing structure and retention of an existing landscape planter on property located in the HBCSP-DA2 Zone at 3611 & 3645 Torrance Boulevard.
PRE10-00005: Petition of TIM CAREY TRUST for approval of a Precise Plan of Development to allow additions to the second story of an existing two story single family residence on property located within the Hillside Overlay District in the R-3 Zone at 613 Paseo de la Playa.
PRE10-00004: Petition of CBB ARCHITECTS (STEVE PAULSEN) for approval of a Precise Plan of Development to allow first and second story additions to an existing two-story single family residence on property located within the Hillside Overlay District in the R-1 Zone at 140 Via Los Miradores.
CUP10-00007: Petition of PATRICIA WICK (CHICKEN MAISON) for approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow the expansion of an existing restaurant in conjunction with a request for a beer and wine license on property located in the C-2 Zone at 3901 Pacific Coast Highway, Suite D.
Material can be reviewed in the Community Development Department. All persons interested in the above matter are requested to be present at the hearing or to submit their comments to the Community Development Department, City Hall, 3031 Torrance Boulevard, CA 90503.
If you challenge any of the above matters in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Development Department or the office of the City Clerk, prior to the public hearing and further, by the terms of Resolution No. 88-19, you may be limited to ninety (90) days in which to commence such legal action pursuant to Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure.
