NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD BEFORE THE CITY OF TORRANCE PLANNING COMMISSION AT 7:00 P.M., FEBRUARY 15, 2012, IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL, 3031 TORRANCE BOULEVARD, TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA, ON THE FOLLOWING MATTERS:
PRE12-00002: Petition of KELLY HAMM (HAKIM EMAD) for approval of a Precise Plan of Development to allow a new two-story single family residence on property located within the Hillside Overlay District in the R-1 Zone at 169 Via Pasqual.
CUP12-00001, DIV12-00001, DVP12-00001: Petition of ALEX J. ROSE (CONTINENTAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION) for approval of a Conditional Use Permit and a Development Permit to allow the construction of a new multi-tenant commercial center, the operation of two restaurants with on-site beer and wine service, and the operation of a drive-through lane for a bank, in conjunction with a Division of Lot for a Lot Line Adjustment on property located in the HBCSP-MP Zone at 23248 Hawthorne Boulevard.
CUP12-00002, DIV12-00002: Petition of KEN MAGARGEE (SA PROPERTIES CO, LP) for approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow the construction and operation of an assisted living facility and skill nursing facility, in conjunction with a Division of Lot to consolidate three parcels into one on property located in the C-3 Zone at 3210 Sepulveda Boulevard.
SNP12-00001: Petition of SOUTH BAY PRE-OWNED DEALERSHIP (ALAMEDA PROPERTIES LTD) for approval of a Sign Permit to allow one internally illuminated double-face electronic reader board ground sign on property located in the C-2 Zone at 2475 Pacific Coast Highway.
If you challenge any of the above matters in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Development Department or the office of the City Clerk, prior to the public hearing and further, by the terms of Resolution No. 88-19, you may be limited to ninety (90) days in which to commence such legal action pursuant to Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure.
