NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD BEFORE THE CITY OF TORRANCE PLANNING COMMISSION AT 7:00 P.M., DECEMBER 3, 2014 IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL, 3031 TORRANCE BOULEVARD, TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA, ON THE FOLLOWING MATTERS:

PRE14-00008: Petition of JEFF LYON (MR. & MRS. ANDY MAGEE) for approval of a Precise Plan of Development to allow first and second story additions to an existing two-story single family residence on property located within the Hillside Overlay District in the R-1 Zone at 659 Calle Miramar.  This project is Categorically Exempt from CEQA per Guidelines Section 15301 - Existing Facilities.

MOD14-00011: Petition of HELEN LEE (PROVIDENCE LITTLE COMPANY OF MARY) for approval of a Modification of a previously approved Conditional Use Permit (CUP94-00005) to allow the operation of a weekly farmers market in the parking lot of the existing hospital campus on property located in the HMD Zone at 4101 Torrance Boulevard. This project is Categorically Exempt from CEQA per Guidelines Section 15301 - Existing Facilities.

CUP14-00025: Petition of THE ENSBURY GROUP (F&M HILL PACIFIC COAST, LLC) for approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow the repurposing of the existing motel site into an assisted senior independent living facility on property located in the C-2 Zone at 2455 Pacific Coast Highway. This project is Categorically Exempt from CEQA per Guidelines Section 15301 - Existing Facilities.

If you challenge any of the above matters in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Development Department or the office of the City Clerk, prior to the public hearing and further, by the terms of Resolution No. 88-19, you may be limited to ninety (90) days in which to commence such legal action pursuant to Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure.
