NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD BEFORE THE CITY OF TORRANCE PLANNING COMMISSION AT 7:00 P.M., JUNE 7, 2017 IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL, 3031 TORRANCE BOULEVARD, TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA, ON THE FOLLOWING MATTERS:
CUP16-00026, CUP16-00027, CUP16-00028, DVP16-00001, DVP16-00002, DVP16-00003, DIV17-00002, MOD16-00008 (EAS16-00004): Petition of DEL AMO 5, LLC for adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration and for approval of Conditional Use Permits and Development Permits to allow the construction and operation of a new mixed-use development composed of a senior housing village-a 183-unit independent living facility and 100-unit licensed living facility-and a 70-unit hotel on APN 7525-023-024, in conjunction with a Modification of a previously approved Precise Plan of Development (PP65-38) to allow the new structures and to allow the construction of a new parking structure on APN 7525-023-027, with a Division of Lot to allow a three-lot subdivision of APN 7525-023-024, at the western portion of the Del Amo Financial Center site, on property located in the H-DA1 Zone at the northeast corner of Carson Street and Del Amo Circle Drive.
WAV17-00003: Petition of MERRELL TUCKER for approval of a Waiver of the rear yard setback requirement, in conjunction with first and second story additions and attaching existing garage to an existing one-story single-family residence on property located in the R-1 Zone at 21222 Ladeene Avenue. This project is Categorically Exempt from CEQA per Guidelines Section 15305 - Minor Alterations.
LUS17-00002: City of Torrance (HISTORIC PRESERVATION)
Planning Commission consideration of a proposed Land Use Study for the creation of a Historic Preservation Program and Ordinance. An Environmental Assessment will be prepared once direction is provided on the proposed Code Amendments and returned with the Draft Ordinances for full review and consideration.
