The Engineering Division is responsible for the development and implementation of projects included in the City's Capital Improvement Program that maintain and/or rehabilitate the City's existing roadways and bridges; traffic signals; signing, striping, curb painting and pavement markings; storm drains, channels and retention basins; sanitary sewer and water system facilities; water reservoirs and pump stations. Our duties include planning, budgeting, designing, administering the public bidding process and award of Public Works contracts, and managing the construction of each project. The Division also provides engineering support to other City Departments and other Divisions of the Public Works Department.
