190TH STREET REHABILITATION (HAWTHORNE BLVD. TO PRAIRIE AVE.), I-130
190th Street is an east-west arterial roadway for Torrance and the South Bay region. The segment between Hawthorne Boulevard and Prairie Avenue has 4-lanes with no raised medians, and an average traffic volume of approximately 31,000 vehicles per day.
This project generally provided for rehabilitation of deteriorated asphalt concrete (AC) pavement; repairs to concrete curb/gutter/sidewalk; upgrades to access ramps for ADA compliance; replacement of all faded roadway signs; installation of bike lanes; and upgrades to selected traffic signal equipment at the 190th St/Prairie Ave intersection.

Construction of this project was successfully completed in January 2015.
The total budget for this project, including design, construction and inspection, was $770,000.
