To mark the City of Torrance Centennial and to add to the historic look at the the Armed Forces Day Celebration we are proud to announce that the Western Museum of Flight is coordinating flights of vintage warbirds of the 2012 Armed Forces Day Parade. If you have ever wanted to fly in a vintage military aircraft to see what it was like for our military heroes or if you just want another great vantage point to celebrate the Armed Forces Day Parade, here is your chance.
The Western Museum of Flight will be coordinating flyovers for a number of vintage military aircraft overhead during the Parade. Participants will have a chance to see the 2012 AFD Parade FROM THE AIR!!. What a great way to see the Parade. Several aircraft are scheduled to participate including a T-6 Texan trainer, a BT-13 WWII trainer and a vintage biplane. Check the Western Museum of Flight website for updates on additional aircraft.
