Palos Verdes Boulevard Rehabilitation-Design, I-121

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Palos Verdes Boulevard (Pacific Coast Highway to south City Limit) is an arterial street carrying approximately 25,000 vehicles per day.  It contains two travel lanes in each direction throughout the project limits which measures approximately 5,780 feet long.  The condition of the street is deteriorated and has become a significant maintenance problem. Improvements will consist of pavement rehabilitation, construction of missing and/or damaged concrete curb, gutter, sidewalks, and cross-gutters and the addition of a bike lane.  Asphalt rubber hot mix (ARHM) pavement overlay will be considered as an option.
