Green Pride Awards are a way for the City of Torrance to say "thank you" and recognize efforts made by residents, businesses and organizations who do an outstanding job maintaining their properties or implementing new technologies to make the environment cleaner. The award was created with the goals of recognizing "green living"; acknowledging and encouraging community involvement; and maintaining and improving the distinctive appearance of Torrance.
