The City Clerk is directly elected by the citizens and is responsible under Section 620 and 621 of the City Charter to serve as the custodian of the City Seal and to keep the record of proceedings of the City Council including ordinances, resolutions, and minutes. In addition, the City Clerk provides information to citizens and City departments as well as support services to City departments as required.
SPECIAL VACANCY NOTICE - There are currently two unscheduled vacancies on the Planning Commission (one with a term expiring 1/31/2015 and one with a term expiring 1/31/18). The City Clerk is accepting applications to fill the vacancies. The date for appointment has been set for September 23, 2014.
